This is the first good app I’ve seen on the iPhone. Takes the knowledge of event professionals and really makes it usable and actionable. Looking forward to seeing all of the updates and improvements based on how it is used. Really let’s you have the comfort level with your suppliers that all the basic decisions being made and being recommended are on target.

There’s a new iphone / ipad app on the scene that is garnering a lot of buzz…and for good reason. The Super Planner is an event industry app developed by Howard Givner, and is one of the most in-depth mobile tools on the market today.
It is a digital encyclopedia of industry calculators convenient enough to carry with you everywhere in your purse or pocket. Just as a good measuring tape, hotel directory, business calendar and frequent flyer miles are mainstays for the planner, so too should be the Super Planner.
Overall, it’s extremely comprehensive, easy to use and even if you know it all, I challenge you to be able to calculate it as fast and conveniently as you can using this app. For $9.99 it may just be one of the most used tools in your event planning arsenal. click here to read full review.

Now, let me say that I rarely pay for apps. With all of the free options out there, I can usually find something that works, and occasionally I will upgrade or try a paid app on the recommendation of a friend. This app is worth every penny. To have the ability to run these kind of calculations at your fingertips is invaluable. click here to read full review.
The Stylish Planner
A great example of the power of mobile applications is the Super Planner app, which could be termed the Swiss army knife of meeting planning. A multipurpose tool for professional event and meeting planners, the app has three major sections: F&B, audio-visual and venue capacity, and each section has several subsections.

I would like to have a full events planning app for iPhone which also includes contacts for venues, deejays, clients, etc. within the app. I would also like to be able to have folders to separate events by name like a file cabinet. This way I can keep my info within the party and bringing them up when discussing each event being much easier.
